Mendenhall Glacier Aerial

Nice overall shot. Not hard to imagine there are tens of thousands just like it.
Any time you can get to Alaska and shoot glaciers do it.
Just a little bit static. The middle of the photo needs to be a little more dynamic.
Use of camera,
ISO 400 is a good point to start. At the f/8 I imagine you were around 1250 shutter speed. That should stop the inherent vibrations in the chopper.
Great. You have everythin in focus
You were a slave to mid day sun because of the tour you were on. If you could see this early or late day you would have a different appreciation for the shot.
Everything looks sharp. F/8 over a long distance is the sweet spot on the lens.

How to improve your photo
I will mention three things that I think are important. The first is out of your control but try and get there early or late. Completely different. I think you would be astounded what happens in the twilight hour or the minutes just after sunrise.
Have someone hat is proficient in photoshop work on the file. I would like some more sharpness and contrast in the mountains and some better and cleaner whites in the snow.
This type of shot lends itself to a Panorama format. It would be nice to see what was on the left and right and had stitched that into the photo.
