This is a beautiful, well composed photograph and you should be proud of it.
Nice shot, I often wonder why we like "Old" things photographically but find myself seeking them out also. I think it must be the texture, especially in black and white. This works very well with the foreground anchor to first grab your eye.
I don't think you could have done much better with the composition, however I get a tiny bit distracted with the perspective, leaning to the left a little.
Use of camera,
Perfect, tho I don't see the speed recorded on the meta data unless 200 means 200th of a second. I wonder if you used a tripod? If so you could have used a smaller aperture and slower speed if necessary to get more DOF
Hard to miss with a 20mm lens. But if you needed more you could use f11 @ about a 60th
Couldn't do any better than this!
Looks perfect from what I see here.

How to improve your photo
I shot a D70 for several years and am trying to remember if it had a "Grid" setting on the menu for the viewfinder, if so load it up and pay attention to your horizontal and vertical lines.
If you have Photoshop or another editing program use the tool to correct the perspective with a grid overlay and see if this helps the "Leaning" of the left side of the house, OR maybe it just needs to be rotated slightly to the right.
I like your Black and white conversion, it is not overdone and looks as if it was shot with film and a medium yellow filter
