Congratulation, almost perfect but "stiff, scholastic" shoot in the style of the pros of the 70ies. With one word it is a slightly dated however technically pro level shot. OK, with some failures. Copying is an essential part of the Photo Guild, but let the picture to say your own ideas. Because you have your point, you admire the root vegetables. But I don`t feel the "love in the air".
Nothing exciting about a vegy basket, but correctly gathered.
You stick with the eye level. Try to shoot from different angles.
Use of camera,
Try out 30 for Speed with a corresponding F stop. It will result more naturally looking colours.
Don`t be afraid of blurring away the whole basket, it will be still there.
Slightly out of focus.
How to improve your photo
Please pay attention to cropping, you almost master the construction, don`t spoil it with an unwanted table cant.
Please work on colours, they are little blocky, you can edit them with various tools in the Photoshop.
Display a wider variety of shades, hues. You can separate the whole background by colours, by blurring it, by adding a layer style.
