Hi Selena, you´ve had a great attempt to shoot a subject that has been shot a million times. The difficulty is with subjects like this is that it is very hard to produce an image that really wows the viewer. Take note of my suggestions and get more creative. Keep up the good work.
The Arc de Triomphe is a great place for photography, but capturing it in a unique way can be quite difficult.
Personally I´m not a fan of sloping buildings, if the building has vertical walls in real life then it should have vertical walls in your images. What I would really have liked to have seen would be this same composition but shot at night on a long shutter speed to shot some headlight blur, with the Arc lit up up. That could have made the composition more interesting
you´ve managed to keep the whole frame pretty much in focus well done.
Not the most dramatic lighting, try sunrises and sunsets, even in black and white that´s the best time to shoot.
The Arc de Triomphe is an iconic landmark that must be included in the album when one visits Paris. Appreciate your critique. (F22, 1/100, ISO 500, 9mm)

How to improve your photo
Don´t always rely on the basic composition particularly for over photogrphed subjects such as this, look for new angles to shoot from.
Be aware of what your lens is doing to the image, for me I feel quite uneasy to see a building leaning over that much.
Shoot as much as you can, I give this feedback so many times but with digital these days there really is no reason why you could not have spent a few hours shooting different scenes of the Arc.
